Radiant Heat Floor Installation
Radiant Heating System in Master Bath
The electric radiant heat in the master bath was installed by our electrician this week.  Next week they will lay down the white and black hex tile.  I have to finalize the border pattern this weekend, which is a fun exercise in geometry.  This bathroom will be in classic prewar style with the hex floor and subway tile on the walls and in the custom shower.  Fixtures include a vintage pedestal sink, a new kohler memoirs toilet and ceramic reproduction sconces.  I can’t wait to walk barefoot on those toasty tiles!  Hardcore DIY’ers, This Old House has step by step instructions on how to install radiant heat under a tile floor.
